Company officials were interested in investing in clean energy solutions to add to their commitment to sustainability, and to positively affect their bottom line with utility savings.
Solution
After consulting with Renova, it was determined that a system composed of 234 SunPower 360 W panels would help them achieve their goal, given the available space on the roof. The system generated 153,204 KwHs the first year, which offset 2/3rds of their electric bill.
Benefits
Using a modest utility price inflation factor, it’s projected the company will save more than $1 million over 30 years, and even more if utility rates rise more.
