Our Promise
Renova Energy has been committed to our community since 2006, with the highest rating for a solar company in California and Arizona on Solar Reviews and a 5-star rating on Google.
Renova Energy has installed more than 12,000 solar systems, including battery installations. Renova knows all HOA and city guidelines, with expert knowledge of local utilities and the ins and outs of installing in harsh desert temperatures.
Renova Energy is one of 11 companies in the nation to be accredited by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Renova is recognized in both CA and AZ as a licensed general contractor, electrician, solar installer, and roofer.
Renova provides up to a 30-year warranty. Many times, other manufacturers boast a 25-year power warranty but only offer a 10-year or 12-year warranty. These warranties may also require homeowners to pay for shipping or crew expenses to repair the module if there’s a problem.
Renova guarantees that your panel will still produce 92% of the original amount of energy at Year 25—no other panel even comes close!
Yes. At Renova Energy, we want to make sure we give you the most accurate estimate and take into account some specifics regarding your roof and electrical panel before asking you to sign a contract. That is why we offer you a Site Survey at no cost.
Yes. RenovaPLUS is our service division of Renova Energy and offers cleaning, maintenance, repair, and inspection services for any solar system. RenovaPLUS is also certified to perform warranty work for most major solar manufacturers, so you can rest assured Renova Energy will be available for service after the sale.
Pricing
The price of a solar system depends on several key factors, including the size and capacity of the system, the quality of the equipment, your location, local labor and permitting costs, the condition and complexity of your roof, and any additional components like batteries.
Yes, you can take advantage of the Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which is worth 30% of your installation cost.
Studies show solar can increase home values by about 4% on average.
Payback periods typically range from 5-10 years for grid-tied systems, depending on electricity rates, incentives, and installation costs.
Refer a Friend
You can refer a friend or family member to Renova Energy through the Renova app. If the person you referred moves forward with a residential system, you get $250. If they move forward with a commercial system for their business, you get $500. Download the app for iPhone here. Download the Android app here.
There is no limit on the number of friends you can refer.
You can track the status of your reward within the app, including when you will be paid, which is after the system is installed.
RenovaPLUS / Maintenance
There are a few ways, but the fastest is to check whether or not your current Edison meter is spinning backward. RenovaPLUS can also analyze your system to see if it’s working. Also, be sure to check your monitoring app.
We recommend having your solar panels cleaned 2-3 times per year.
Yes! We can still help replace panels or find suitable replacements, depending on your needs. We can also help you find the manufacturer to ask questions about the warranty.
Roofing
No, solar panels won’t damage your roof if they’re installed correctly. Professional installers like Renova take several precautions to ensure your roof stays protected, such as assessing its condition before installation, sealing and covering any holes drilled during the process, and providing warranties against leaks.
Not always, but it’s recommended if your roof is more than 10 years old. As an experienced solar company, we can assess your specific roof and make recommendations.
Solar panels can be installed on most roof types, including flat roofs, metal roofs, and pitched roofs with shingles.
Yes, Renova Energy has trained roofing professionals who will thoroughly survey your home’s installation area. As a certified roofing contractor, Renova can handle any necessary roof work, so there’s no need to hire another contractor for your project.
Solar Panels
The solar panels that Renova provides deliver up to a 30-year product and production warranty. Many times, other manufacturers boast a 25-year power warranty but only offer a 10-year or 12-year product warranty. These warranties may also require homeowners to pay for shipping or crew expenses to repair the module if there’s a problem. Renova guarantees that your panel will still produce 92% of the original amount of energy at Year 25 – no other panel even comes close.
In order to offer a competitive price, many companies propose a system that only covers a percentage of your electricity usage. The result is an electric bill that will keep getting higher as electric prices increase. Renova Energy strives to offset 95-100% of your electric bill in order to keep your total cost for electricity as low as possible.
Renova Energy offers the most advanced and efficient solar panels in the industry, backed by third-party testing and verification from American companies to ensure they withstand the harsh desert environment.
Tesla Powerwall
Tesla offers a 10-year warranty for the Powerwall, guaranteeing at least 70% of its original capacity during that time. With proper use and maintenance, a Powerwall can potentially last longer, but like all rechargeable batteries, it can experience some capacity decay over time.
A single Powerwall can power most electrical devices in an average home, including appliances and even electric vehicles. Each Powerwall can deliver up to 21 amps of energy. The exact capabilities depend on your home’s energy usage and the number of Powerwalls installed.
Yes, you can activate a feature called Go Off-Grid on the Tesla app to disconnect your Powerwall from the grid.
