2006
Humble Beginnings
In the humble beginnings of our CEO Vincent Battaglia’s garage, Renova came to life. But as customers flocked to us, that garage quickly became too small for our growing ambitions and inventory.
2012
First In Nation
Renova became the first company in the nation to earn accreditation from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), the most respected certification organization in the solar industry.
2019
RenovaPLUS
We launched RenovaPLUS, bringing full-service solar maintenance under one roof so that our customers could receive top-notch service without ever leaving Renova’s care.
2020
Our Growing Renova Energy Team
Our Renova family grew to over 200 passionate team members, each committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in renewable energy.
2023
Renova Energy Expansion
Renova Energy crossed state lines into Arizona, marking the beginning of our expansion across the U.S. and bringing our expertise to even more desert communities.

As a longtime sustainability advocate, Vincent founded Renova Energy as a master’s thesis project in 2006. Since then, he’s led Renova Energy to become the premier desert solar company in both the Coachella Valley and Tucson.
