Renova Energy has a long history of giving back to the community. From the very beginning, I appreciated that the residents of the valley were encouraging this young business that was trying to bring renewable energy, and I was eager to give back, even if it was modest at first.

We’ve been associated for a long time with many nonprofits, including the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, Desert Business Association, Desert Cancer Foundation, Palm Springs Pride, AIDS Assistance Program, Desert ARC, Animal Samaritans, FIND Food Bank, and many more. In fact, you can learn more here.

Besides helping less fortunate people and animals, it’s also a chance for our team members to experience the joy of giving back firsthand as we enjoy opportunities that put giving into action, including collecting supplies and then helping to distribute backpacks at the Rescue Mission, working in the warehouse at FIND Food Bank, or participating with a team in Paint El Paseo Pink, among many others.

I think it’s a big part of what has made Renova successful, and I’m grateful for our ability to do this. It’s just another reason why supporting a local business makes sense for all of us.
